We are looking for a Digital Designer to support a wide variety of graphic requests. Reporting to Sr. Graphic Designers, this role will work across web, social and print graphics. Primary duties include producing social graphic campaigns, email graphics, website assets, flyers, icons and more. This position is part of the Central Marketing department and provides design services to the entire company and its subsidiaries.

This is part of a global team, and is open to those in North America or in the UK only. There is a UK based office, and nearly 100 employees as part of the UK branch of the company.

Responsibilities The Digital Designer will: Ideate distinctive and compelling design solutions to inspire and drive consumer action and purchase Concept, design and deliver highly creative and professional materials that are aligned and reflect the SANS brand and supports the business strategy Take general design direction, conduct design research and synthesize ideas based off of past projects, design trends, team input and client requirements Handle multiple projects with changing priorities, deadlines and directions Organize and manage digital files in a detailed, transparent, consistent manner for access and team efficiency Coordinate over a variety of communications channels and interface with individuals across the organization Work from home across multiple global time zones and deadlines Partner with specialists and marketers to translate technical concepts into successful marketing collateral Collaborate with a wide range of co-workers from across the globe, all with varying backgrounds and disciplines

Experience and portfolio requirements:

2+ years agency experience with focus in tech based sectors or higher education OR 4+ years independent/contractor/private company experience with focus in tech based sectors or higher education Strong portfolio showing experience with web, social, email, print, iconography and illustration, with strong examples in tech/cyber or higher education focus. Relevant college degree is preferable, but not required Advanced knowledge of the following: Apple Mac OS Adobe Creative Cloud and ALL it’s subsequent applications HTML/CSS All social platforms Typography Illustration and iconography Adobe Stock and stock image selection and procurement Microsoft Office and ALL it’s subsequent applications General CMS/Web Publishing platforms; uploading assets, documentation, asset organization, etc And more Video editing experience is a nice to have Excellent communications and time management skills Entrepreneurial spirit; Many aspects of the position require independent strategic thinking to get projects to completion and provide well thought out ideas to the team.

Position Requirements The Digital Designer is required to be available and working during standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 8AM – 5PM. You will work from home and must have an appropriate space and environment to execute work during these time periods. SANS supplies at-home workers with appropriate information technology and telecommunications support for their home offices.
