Full-time Morgans Consult in Cardiff

Morgans Consult is a long established company specialising in brand implementation & signage. We provide a broad range of services and products for visitor centres, events and wayfinding. We have an extensive portfolio of high profile clients around the UK with long established relationships.

The position

As part of our ongoing growth and development we require a Product / Graphic Designer to join in-house design team producing artwork for manufacture, print, vinyl graphics & digital. Following brand guidelines and ensuring consistency & accuracy across work produced for production.

Our successful candidate requires:

  • A degree level qualification in Product or Graphic Design.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite with particular focus on Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • A strong aptitude for technical design and attention to detail
  • The capability to take projects from the initial brief stage through to finished print ready artwork/digital product.
  • Be comfortable developing campaigns and brand assets or working off existing brand guidelines to provide creative and relevant content.
  • To be comfortable communicating directly with a large range of B2B clients in a professional and friendly manner, forging lasting relationships.
  • To be able to demonstrate flexibility to produce a range of core business work as and when required.
  • To work in a deadline driven environment and be able to demonstrate time management skills.
  • Great communication skills and work seamlessly with numerous internal departments.
  • A varied portfolio of existing work demonstrating your creative and practical design skills.

Desirable skills

  • Understanding of Welsh language
  • 3D design experience
  • Understanding of SEO
  • Photography and video production skills

The right candidate will be self-motivated, hardworking with exceptional time management skills. They will approach every project in a positive manner to ensure the highest level of service is delivered at all times.

Salary: Dependant on the level of skills and experience

Working hours: 42½ hours per week Mon-Thurs 8.30am – 5.30pm Fri 7.30am – 16.30pm
